Maple…..

Oh my. Busy times.  Fiona is easy to have around, maple is a bit of work.   Last night Maple had to go out at 3am!    We discussed that this might happen, so Fiona let’s us know by phoning us since she is sleeping on the first floor ( my studio) and our bedroom is on the 3rd floor!     Maple also wears a diaper… but all was good.  
This morning we had to go to Trader Jo’s for food since we haven’t been here for 3 months and the cupboards were bare.   Fiona chose what she likes but she was amazed she’s never seen anyone buy enough for  2 carts and she’s used to her mom putting stuff in a very organized manner…. Whereas “Nanna just throws the food in the cart”.  Something is always squished. .   ( due to my dislike of food shopping? )   
Maple needs more exercise than we are able to give her from our slow walks in the neighborhood so we all went over to play with Cocoa Bean who has a large shady yard to run around like crazy for a couple hours. .. they are good fun for each other….I tried to get a good  photo of them but they were always in motion…( and I haven’t even gotten to look at the camera shots yet).  so Fi got them to sit a moment for her!   ( and take their photo…in the middle of the extra)   Hopefully she will be tired now.   Nice chats with Eric and Oskar ( learned all about next years metro league bball mess) and Anne for a bit….they just came home from taking Nik to Lewis and Clark college. 
Then we had to get fish and chips on the way home since I can’t grocery shop and cook on the same day!  
Some tv, some games… 2 of the 4 of us are exhausted. 
Put together hastily…. Now time for the bedtime book reading…..
