Weeds and flowers

Our whole garden is full of winter weeds. Grasses this side and violets on the other side. I have cleared most of the back and half of the front garden so far. The opposite side had a mass of tiny violets and a lot with the roots stuck under the plants I want to keep. In amongst the weeds there are a few blooms, which hopefully will be more prominent next week when I do some more work.

Half the roses are now pruned but of course I have filled the green bin. I’ll leave the rest until I have a safe place to keep the clippings as I don’t like getting scratched after the event.
