Langour

Busy Tuesday: out by 7, too much to do in a day at work, home for 5:30 and tea, clear-up, rehearsals, cubs, run, cubs pick up, supper, rehearsal pick up, packed lunches.

Would I really want it any other way?

I pulled the car to the side of the road before picking up Charlie. The gull drifting past that pylon quietly providing the sleepy town with power for their tellys and microwaves while tankers with dropped anchors bob on the cool, still surface of our estuary with the alluring promise of the misty hills in the background.

For about three seconds I enjoyed this view and drew much peace and calm from it.
