Home Making

This morning we set off walking  to the apartment and came upon a moving truck and a puzzled man holding papers.  It turns out he was looking for lovely daughters address.  Follow us we said.  The three movers were as strong and as cheerful as the Christchurch ones.  Once they left we set about the opening and unpacking.  It seemed to go faster than the wrapping and packing did.  There are only five boxes left but they are clothes and books.  It isn't settled where the bookcase will be permanently so they can wait.  The TV could have been a problem but no we solved it and attached it to the base.  Connecting to the internet defeated us so the provider will have to be contacted.
I had a little moment this afternoon but then the stick on picture hooks were found.  In the blip lovely daughter is hanging a canvas collage I made for her of the bison/tatonka photos I took when we were in the U.S in 2019.  Down the hallway is the living area with a chair and cushions and one picture tile mounted from a series I made for her of our New York visit also 2019.  Soft furnishings and something on the walls makes it seem more her place and calmed  me down again.
The extra is the house on the opposite corner and I liked seeing the palms which is very north of the North Island vegetation.
