Some Sunny Sunday

After a chat with the lady at the guest house we trundled our bags to the apartment and had coffee on the wee balcony.  I took it as a positive sign there was a wax eye collecting nectar from a bottlebrush type shrub in the garden below.  L D is on the second floor but only one flight of stairs.  She put up the rest of the New York picture tiles and put on a load of washing then we decided to go for a drive and have some fun.  Mission Bay was the destination which is through the CBD and the road passes the docks and then follows the coast to several beachside suburbs.  We stopped at St Heliers beach and  bought a sandwich and sat on a seat by the beach and people watched.  Almost every human was with a dog.  Later the lovely daughter drove me to the airport where it was back to mask wearing.  I had noticed as we drove north the wearing of masks had became less and less.
