Crab Apple

It's nice to have a day with nothing on - we've been to two operas, one musical and agricultural show this week.  Especially since we've got some friends coming for lunch tomorrow. I made some fresh pea and mint soup today and started to make another peach and rosemary tart that was so successful with our previous friends ;-)  MrHCB has been tidying up the garden and starting to cut trees and shrubs back. Now there has been some rain neither the plants nor we are too stressed anymore.  Soon we will have a glut of apples and tomatoes (are everyone's tomatoes late this year?)
