The Harbour.. ..and Sci-fi

Back to the harbour today in the hope of a coastal cruise, but no sailings, the sea considered to be too rough. It didn't seem it in the bay, but maybe further out. So, a wander around, it was busy, had my last treat of some chips, that's twice this week, no more for a while,  plus a last ice cream. The life boat was laid up in the corner, I  didn't realise just how large it was, by contrast a small boat, the Venus, apparently the oldest boat on the East Coast.
Along the way to the harbour and back, bumped into some participants of a Sci-fi convention, some fabulous costumes, great fun, so lovely seeing people enjoying themselves. They were collecting for the RNLI on the beach later
Extra collage of sci-fi
Back for a leisurely afternoon people watching from the conservatory window....home tomorrow.
