Bonus Day

Today me and Mrs MD visited the National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port. It's where the Shropshire Union Canal meets the Manchester Ship Canal and the River Mersey. It was once a noisy, bustling hub, but is now an area of calm and tranquillity. 
Today there were a number of artists sat around the site recording what they saw. - Bonus 1.
We then went down to the Port and Anchor for a little refreshment and were rewarded by the 'Peshora Star' being guided along the canal - Bonus 2.
Whilst we were enjoying our drinks we were 'joined' by a rather exclusive car - McLaren 600LT - Bonus 3 (well it was for me)  :-)
Altogether a great day out.
