Pavlova

We drove down south from Lincoln to Surrey so that we could be nearer to the Channel Tunnel where we cross over to France on Monday morning.
We had a good first night’s sleep in the “The Black Knight”, despite the very loud and bright thunderstorm in the middle of the night!
We had parked in the driveway of our friends - the Reeders, who live in Effingham Junction in Leatherhead. We went out for dinner at the nearby “The Duke of Wellington” pub. I really enjoyed the Vegetarian Wellington I ordered for main course, but it didn’t look quite as appetizing as this Raspberry and Passion fruit Pavlova which I chose for dessert.
