Autumn in South-East Queensland

Here on the southern side of the equator it is autumn - not that it is as dramatic a season here in Queensland Australia, as it is in Northern Europe. It's odd to think of spring happening over there while we have our mini-fall in Oz.

Hardly any of the trees here in Maleny are deciduous as the weather doesn't get cold enough to trigger leaf-drop, with the exception of Maples which provided virtually all the leaves in this drift. The main street in town is 'Maple Street' presumable naked for the numbers of the trees that flourish here.

I have 3 more days here at my Aussie base, then will fly back to the English Spring for a couple of days, then I'm off overseas (work) for 10 days or so. More about that nearer the date.
