Neist Point Lighthouse, Skye.

We thought the road to the beautiful coral beach at Claigan (extra to prove we did swim there) was narrow but driving out to the westernmost point of Skye, the lighthouse at Neist Point, was something else! I am having a glass of wine to relax me now … There were so many people driving out there on the potholed single track road, including huge camper vans. We saw at least two cars that had broken down which caused traffic jams of course. The area around the lighthouse, which is now automated since 1990, is spectacular and it must be amazing to watch the sunset there! We had dramatic, but grey, skies today and were so lucky again, not to have rain!

Thanks again for keeping up with my journal, and all the presents you have recently left there, all very appreciated. I love the comments from so many of you who have been there before or are going to go in the future. It is a great place for photography!
