A bright day

I have been house bound for 6 days. Last week I was sitting at my desk, stretched down to pick up something from the floor and, with a loud twang, burst my Hamstring

Sitting with my leg raised, ice pack and some painkillers, I got through the first few days without any swelling and the pain eased.

I rested until today when I went out for a short walk with my wife. In the new Estate beside us I saw these trees at the end of a cul-de-sac. They looked good against the blue sky.

We have a new Prime Minister in Liz Truss. Time will tell whether she can cope with a daunting set of problems. She should at least be given time to prove herself.
