Klosteranlage/Monastery Bamberg

After yesterday's very hot and sticky 4 and a half hours, today we pushed the boat out - over 9 hours.  The conference room smelled quite unpleasant by the end of that.

Today is always Food Challenge Day at this particular conference. Some people really binge to the occasion.

Starts with breakfast - it's all you can eat buffet.  And people I know had 3 courses in the restaurant the previous evening got stuck in again.  Minimum three visits to the buffet - make it 4 with the fruit salad, 4 and half with a big slice of cake.

Conference starts at 9.

Coffee/Cakes/Savoury  snacks at 10:30.  Half an hour of hoovering things up.  

Lunch at 12:30 - another all you can eat buffet.  Some people got stuck in again - soup, main (and another helping) and large sweet. 

1:30 conference recommences.

3:30 - more coffee/cakes/different savoury snacks - leave nothing behind

We finished up just after 6. "We're meeting at 6:30 to head to the restaurant for dinner".

I would not be possible for me to eat that in a day.  It just couldn't fit in.  Some people can and do though with gusto.

Wednesday is alway easier - just breakfast buffet and one break for coffee/cake.

I wanted to go up and visit this Kloster but the heat made it impossible.  This is as close as I got.
