Ice cream

We went to Grizedale forest with Tom today. Sat-nav sent us on a circuitous and twisty route which seemed long enough as it was. But then we came to a  “ Road Ahead Closed” sign. A workman offered to let us follow him round to the far side of the  works. Eventually we reached our destination after an hour and a half and twenty odd miles. Should have been half that.
We had a good day out at the playground and cafe and Tom had an enormous ice cream with marshmallows on top. He loved it and polished it all off!
