Humber

The Humber Bridge was opened in1981. We had never seen it so came back from Yorkshire via the bridge today. It looked very impressive in the sunshine. We went to the viewing area on the south side of the bridge to take photos. They have created a really nice area there with lots of benches looking over the river, and a lovely cafe or was it a pub… anyway the problem was the car park had a height restriction so we couldn’t park the van there. Really annoying! We could have parked on a nearby road but needed to get home. So LooseCanon waited with the engine running while I went and grabbed some photos. Extra is through a rather dirty windscreen as we were driving over, it’s a toll bridge but was only £1.60.
Home now after a lovely few days in North Yorkshire.
