The World Through Blunted Sight

One good thing happened today - I got soaked going to get the bus into town.  That means it has been raining.  I REALLY enjoyed that.

The appointment with the eye-specialist not so much.  First a long wait - 45 minutes.  Then an eye test - left eye is absolutely rubbish, right eye SOOOO much better.  Another long wait - the specialist then checked out my eyes and pupils.  My left eye does have a cataract but it's not serious.  My right eye is fine.

But I will need an operation.

I go back in April to see how things are.  Or not see how things are.

Must admit, that really messed with my head.  And I was not in a good place when I logged on to work.

But. 2 hours on the telephone helping someone get something to work, that lifted my spirit a little.
