Top o't Moor

We dropped by the dentists first thing, somewhat disgruntled, for me to sign up to a monthly payment schedule and for Tony to consider it.  As is always the case with these things, it is the receptionists who are on the front line and, no doubt, there will have been patients much more vociferous than us being faced with something of a rock and a hard place.

Back home I set about clearing the rockery of a pernicious tiny blue flowered plant which has been insinuating itself amongst existing plants and starving them out.  It took some doing with long roots for such an innocent looking flower.  Last summer we were remarking on its prettiness!

Towards the end of the afternoon, we took a walk up to the top of the Moor in the best time of the day.

We have just heard the news about the death of the Queen, very sad and the end of an era.
