Nicky brought a small amount of Mum's jewellery with her, not having got round to doing anything with it up to now. So this morning we took it into town, had it all tested for gold and silver content and sold as much as we could. We were left with the Rotary watch, the ring and the earrings.

Cash Converters offered us £15 for the watch if we had the box... which we'd unfortunately left on the coffee table, so I agreed to Ebay the watch and we went home. But I later decided that I'd keep it since it fitted, although I'm not sure if I'll ever wear it.
