Today we went mushroom picking in the forest. It was sunny and also chilly. Evidently the dry and chilly last weeks had also eliminated the mosquitos so we could focus on mushrooms. There the lack of recent rains meant that we could mostly only find chanterelles, which was quite ok. We had enough for a chanterelle sauce for four and even more.
