Today a four hour drive to Brunswick (Braunschweig) to see Vermeer's "The girl with the wine glass". The extra presents a detail showing also the wine glass. A fascinating painting not shown in the Rijksmuseum's Vermeer exhibition. Now only two Vermeers that I have not seen live.
