Revenge

Took a stroll through Lissewege & had Koffie verkeerd & appletart.

We put "shortest route" in TomTom & he took us on a farm road through a field & then instructed us to turn right. There may have been a road there in 1355, but not anymore.

Then we drove past Zeebrugge & through Knokke-Heist back to Ter Polders for a snooze. In the afternoon we walked to Moerkerke. The plan was to have a quick walk there, have a beer & walked back. It was MUCH further than we thought & the town was dead when we got there. No beer.

On the way back there was a horse cart on the opposite side of the canal. The horse got spooked by a tree trunk lying next to the road & bolted. The driver's use of the whip didn't help & it ran the cart straight into the second tree from the right moments after the photo was taken. The horse was allright & the cart & occupants drove off in one piece.

Had dinner at Ter Polders again. Filet Mignon for me & C had entrecôte with lots of fries. Yum!

Weather was sunny & with a cold wind.
