Flights of angels

"Thank you for your love and devotion to our family and to the family of nations you have served so diligently all these years. May 'flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.' " King Charles

Another whole day (and evening) of cats and BBC television coverage of the life and loss of the Queen. I took some nice shots of the TV screen to make a memento collage, especially a very poignant one of Charles (and Camilla) walking in through the gates of Buckinham Palace for the first time as King,  but can't use it for Blip, due to copyright issues when publishing, so here's a collage of Harry, Cleo, Lillyanna and her babies (who are 9 weeks old today), taken during the day as they all wandered in and out.

Note to self:
King Charles III first address to the nation - video and transcript here (from the Guardian)

Best parliamentary tributes of the day, imo,
Sir Keir Starman (here) and Boris Johnson (here from the Telegraph)

"She showed the world not just how to reign over a people, she showed the world how to give, how to love and how to serve."  Boris Johnson
