Seeing Beyond Looking

Save the Date

I love seeing the animations in the street on market days. These two men in orange were not workmen at all, but dressed for the occasion of advertising the 'Night of the Museums' in Lausanne. This happens once a month for night owls as the museums are open until 2 am!

This was all quite amusing and we were quite a crowd watching these two set up their line of tools (used as musical intruments) and the other man was talking in a loudspeaker with special effects which made us smile and the children giggle.

I love things like this which make people laugh or smile and set a tone of good humour!

Yesterday, I spent a good part of the day watching beautiful documentaries about the Queen and listening to King Charles giving a wonderful tribute to his mother. He ended his tribute with these lovely words:
""And to my darling Mama, as you begin your last great journey to join my dear late Papa,
I want simply to say this: thank you.
Thank you for your love and devotion to our family
and to the family of nations you have served so diligently all these years.
May flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest."

A man of loving and poetic words.
