Five Willow Tree Fairies

I went for a golden hour walk to Fishers Green to check on my grebes. They're still sitting.

I shot blackcaps, sedge warblers, chaffinches, coots, moorhens, swans, geese, squirrels, dogs and cyclists but I think this pic of five mallard ducklings is most appealing.

They are swimming under a weeping willow tree. I love the vibrant lime green of the young shoots and these are reflected in the river. The ducklings themselves are reflected too. They are so pretty they remind me of Cicely Mary Barker's Willow Fairy.
