Back to the vet today to have the stitches taken out. As you can see the abscess on his head has healed well, with only a bald patch to show for it. The incision on his back is still a bit scabby, so he's still under house arrest while it heals properly. It'll take months for the fur to grow back ...

He was so anxious about the car journey that he cr*pped in his carrier en route and then sat in it, sigh, so the first job on arrival at the vet was to clean him up. He's glad to be home and tired enough not to be complaining -- he's already gone to bed. Only photo I took today.
