There’s the culprit

Second lot of contractors turned up this morning with mechanical aids to find the leak in Doreen’s pipe. They soon dug a hole to expose the pipe and the leak. Goodness knows how long it’s been leaking. They cut it and joined it with a sleeve and all was well. Done and dusted in an hour.

A busy day with a HIIT session before the contractors arrived, a walk afterwards. This afternoon Susan worked in the garden while I processed produce: making tomato sauce, drying apples and bottling and freezing apple juice.

Our Uketok session stopped abruptly a few minutes before the end with the hosts server crashing. First time since I’ve been participating that the technology has failed.

The ceremony and pageant continued today. A mix of condolences and recognition of a life of duty and looking forward to the impact of the new king. We were thinking of going to London this week to experience being part of a historic moment. I don’t think we’ll be queuing up to file past her coffin given that it could be 24 hours to!
