Fuchsia in the rain

This pot of fuchsias stayed out all winter and didn’t look very strong in the spring, but the combination of the hot summer and now the rain seems to have revived them. The rain today is gentle and refreshing.
Also gentle and refreshing was my afternoon playing Mahjong with my WI friends. We don’t take it very seriously usually, but today there was a strange query about scoring and we couldn’t agree. I am going to have to investigate further.
