Davis Cup

Day one of the Davis Cup finals group stage in Glasgow. I am a volunteer Welcome Ambassador which sounds grand but really just involves offering assistance to spectators and lots of smiling. The cup is on display and people can have their photograph taken with it. The green screen allows them to choose their own background. I didn't appreciate how big the trophy and plinths are.

The matches today were between Netherlands and Kazakhstan. Tomorrow Great Britain take on USA and it is expected to be a sell out. All teams were there today and we got to see Sir Andy on the practice courts.
