Of rich and royal hue..

Rural Aberdeenshire

It was a glorious sunny day today, but still so cold. I stopped in the layby near Toll of Birness to take in the view. It's one of the many places in Buchan where the topography allows views of 30+ miles on a sunny day and today was no exception. This blip was taken looking north-east towards the sea, but any direction would have provided a similar shot of lots of ploughed fields and blue sky. By the time I drove home tonight the temperature was 1 degree. Brrrr!

I am way behind with my visits to your journals fellow blippers. Hope to resume normal activity over the next few days!
