Chilling out

Not a good day today with the lambing. Ewe with a lamb's head out the back and no feet. I had great difficulty trying to locate the legs but eventually got one and managed to pull the lamb out but unfortunately the lamb was dead. We decided to put another lamb to her as she had loads of milk so I got a lamb from our friend R. I skinned the dead lamb and put it on the new lamb. This is how you get the ewe to take the lamb as she thinks it is hers.At first she wasn't interested in so we put them together in the hen house overnight and hoped it would be better in the morning.
