A morning spent with the vacuum cleaner and iron. In the afternoon I was waiting for someone to come and measure up for the new doors. He arrived at 4 o’clock. I made tea as soon as he left and then headed to Waterhead, by which time the sun was getting low. It doesn’t seem long since I was out in the garden at 9 in the evening.
