Bellevue

It’s our eighth trip to Berlin, and with every visit a new find. Spotted Bellevue Palace, the official residence of the President of Germany… strikes me as a bit prettier than 10 Downing Street.

Up early to a glorious Edinburgh and was in our hotel by 3pm. Becoming a fab hand at this journey now. Took it easy at the spa, read and slept in preparation for tomorrow. No Covid this time, so all being well we are systems go for Operation Nummer Funf! Feeling more positive about this one as the top surgeon has stepped in after hearing my plight. I’ve been trying to get to Berlin for this op since September 2021, cancelled again in Dec, then again in January and lastly eight weeks ago.
Got every bodily part crossed as getting rather tired of the Fear and the crazy anxiety dreams that have dogged me the last few weeks. At least I’m round the corner and not going to get lost/ go to the wrong country/ forget something/ go on the wrong day etc all those boxes are now ticked.
