Spotlight on Dysart

The village of Dysart photographed from 2.5 miles (4 km) away from Seafield on the other side of Kirkcaldy.

There were small breaks between the clouds which allowed the sun to occasionally spotlight the village of Dysart.

The Frances Pit ceased production of coal on Feb 5th 1985 but the winding gear has been kept as a memorial - the red structure above and behind the village.
