What on earth are these things???

Weather changed again today!
Girls didn't get out of their pj's until lunchtime....played games inside quite happily, cold and rainy outside. I got some office work done.
Then we went to Toy World for a last holiday treat.....and came home with these things....why, I do not know!
Not sure that my brother is going to be too happy when my Niece arrives back home up north tomorrow with this thing chattering away (the toy that is!) is the suitcase......I have to admit though that I am loving seeing the girls enjoying their last hours playing together, they only get to catch up a couple of times a year.
