Falmouth, Cornwall

K2 has unexpected work today, so the rest of us head out for a look around Falmouth. R has a morning run, K1 and I head off towards Gyllyngvase beach and a walk around the headland via the grounds of Pendennis Castle. We meet up for lunchtime at Falmouth Event Square, a nice maritime development opposite the National Maritime Museum Cornwall.
After more wandering around town in search of photos (they went shopping I think) we headed back for my afternoon doze, followed by an even later afternoon reading in the sunshine and a return for some Caribbean style cuisine in town to round off the day, with my first beer in Cornwall in what seems like fifty years.
