Neo Classical Golf Clubhouse

We went on a morning hike today as the weather predictions say this afternoon it would rain (it hasn't so far, but showers may be imminent soon). This time we walked down to road to Braco and then took the path to Blackford on the edge of the Queen's Court Golf Course at Gleneagles. That road took us through the new development next to Gleneagles, where the building activities for another rather luxurious golf course plus resort and housing are coming along. Can't hide my amusement about this rather pretentious clubhouse, a massive neo neo-classical building, apparently referring to the style of Colen Campbell, a well-known 18th C Scottish architect. To me it looks totally out of place in this landscape, but maybe that's just me.

We also saw two deer and I caught some pictures of them but they blended in so well with the landscape on this rather grey day that I'll try again on a sunnier day with more contrast, hoping they'll stay around the same area.
