Predator on the Premises

I had spotted a hawk in the backyard this morning but thought it had left before I went out with my iced coffee and tripod.  I was surprised that it returned, even with me sitting in full view.  It sat in a limb near the feeder, then swooped back and forth a few times before landing on the grass, where it stayed for several minutes.  I think it's a juvenile Red-shouldered, but I find young hawks difficult to identify.  I don't know if it was successful at hunting this morning, but between the rodents and the birds, there were plenty of opportunities.
Have a wonderful weekend!
