Covered Bridge Festival

We set our alarm for 6:30, got ready and headed to Pennsylvania. The weather could not have been any better. Our “neighbor” agreed to watch Sugar which meant we could be away from home longer. The covered bridge festival had many craft booths. We found our favorite soup, dip and dessert mixes plus a few Christmas gifts. We also bought some day lily, Iris and naked lady flower bulbs. I had my first “walking taco” for lunch. Yum. They crunch up flavored corn chips in their bag and top them with all the normal taco ingredients. You eat the taco with a fork. We visited the second covered bridge that was nearby but it had very little to offer which worked out because we got back to WV for Mass with two minutes to spare. We had another wonderful day. Hope your weekend is as nice. Thanks for the visits, hearts, stars and nice comments. Stay safe. "Live every day as if it is a festival. Turn your life into a celebration" - Shri Radhe Maa
