Bramble Ramble

A HUGE Thank You to everyone who has commented and left hearts and stars after yesterday's milestone blip, propelling it to number three on the Popular page for a while.   Blip is so much more than just a word!
I am copying one comment that particularly moved me:
Your main blip is a bit like an analogy how life is. There is light and shadow. In the dark the reflections are stronger. And you never know when something unexpected will appear. Sometimes it is fascinating like an otter. There are ups and downs (hills) and it is good to have a place to rest with a fascinating and calming view on them...
The street will lead you to new places and perhaps they are even beautiful with new opportunities (coasts and butterflies)
with thanks to Hanulli

This afternoon, as yesterday, I took Meg out before I went to work at 4pm.  She was very animated by something alive deep in the hedgerow!   I was heartened to find that the recent cut has left large numbers of near-ripe blackberries exposed.  No time to pick today.  I hope to be back soon.

Otherwise a day of bulb repotting - all but the seed pots done, pot shuffling and pot washing - at work!   Two consecutive nights with evening functions.  These come with the bonus of a tasty meal for the workers too! :-)
