Laird and Lady for the Weekend

This is the drawing room of Dalrachney Lodge Hotel, where we stayed for our weekend up at the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. Place was pleasantly old, and slightly kitsch what with all the stag's heads, ocelot-skin armchair throws, and tartan carpets on the stairs. Apparently it had been used in a couple of episodes of Monarch of the Glen a while back. Anyway, our very pleasant hostess settled us in nicely with some good tea and an 18-yo Glenlivet.
