Channelling Lee and Pablo

Went into Petworth and saw the Lee Miller and Picasso exhibition at the small Newlands House gallery.  A lot of photos by her of them together and their friendship sang out.  Unusual to see Picasso with and photographed by a woman who wasn’t a long term lover.  The exhibition was put together by his son who still lives locally and so was quite prominent in the selection.   We wandered about a bit but my back was bad so I didn’t  enjoy it much.    

Back at home I started doing some exercises that Sue had sent me and it freed it up enough to function.   Neighbour Rachel to dinner, Henry largely cooked and it was all delicious.  Another potential guest didn’t make it because she was caught up in the queue to see the Queen’s lying in state.  She texted us at midnight to say she’d made it through after 15 hours wait.
