We are waiting for rain

But it didn’t come. We had a very nice dry walk, together. With some talking that was overdue.
A quiet day otherwise with lots of reading and a visit to the goodwill by the end of the day to find a basket as a bed for one of the stray cats.
For dinner we had a quiche made with the last pears from the yard and some Comté .
