Akaroa Sunset

After the pool in the morning I went over to Akaroa for the weekend. I have the pool again on Monday afternoon. The trip was slow as they have changed all the speed limits. Places that were 100k are 80k and in some places they have gone down to 60k and also 50k. Because it is a tourist destination there have been many road accidents. The road is very windy and the hills very steep and narrow and not many places to over take. Some people take risks in over taking slow drivers, who are looking at the scenery.

It was really cold when I arrived late in the afternoon. The sunset looked amazing with all the wonderful colours.
