Postcard from Christchurch ...

  .....On a Cold Windy Day

Blipper Flying and myself visited the Cherry Blossom trees in Hagley Park this morning. Sure were so many people enjoying the blossoms. The light wind was icy cold and it was overcast. Well worth the visit. 

After some lunch in the city we headed for New Brighton for a walk along the beach. The wind had changed directions and became very windy and cold... but not as icy as before.

We headed for Travis Wetlands after our walk at the beach. The wind got a stronger. All the wildlife were keeping away from the wind. After that we had a short walk at the Horseshoe Lake Area. Just too cold and windy to spend much time there.

It was a wonderful day full of lots of things to see and do. Pity the weather wasn't better. Thank you so much for your company Flying.
