Tramway du Mont Blanc

I was knackered in the morning but we had planned to get on the Tramway du Mont Blanc to Le Nid d'Aigle.
We walked to the station - and just managed to catch the train.
The weather was beautiful until we arrived at the top .... haha!
the final station was not necessary what we had expected. We somehow thought there would be a lovely wooden house in the green with benches in the sun .... well - we were wrong - because we were badly prepared.
But all was good - there was a wee hut in the mist and they had coffee. 
Since we had to be back for shoot no 3 in the village at 4 pm we only had 1.5 hrs on the top - which was more than enough.
We walked to the glacier, the drone did not want to work and we walked back down to the train.
It was still a lovely trip and when we arrived back in the village the weather was better again. 
We walked back home, grabbed the gear and walked back into St. Gervais to meet Jo and Kaz in the brasserie.
We did the last shots and had a drink afterwards to celebrate.

We walked back home and had dinner and I fell asleep on the couch.

Tomorrow we are planning to drive to Italy.

Just because we can ..... the Mont Blanc tunnel is only 20 min away from us.
