Red Admiral from Different Angles

Another bright sunny day at our house, both inside and out. Hubby was quite productive. He purchased and installed the inner “guts” of our front door handle. Thankfully, Lowes had the repair parts. They no longer sell the brand we currently have so his next job would have been to repaint the door. He cut the lawn and took care of several computer tasks. I found a decapitated juvenile black snake near the patio this morning while hubby was shopping. It appeared to have been bitten as well. No idea what would have killed it. Just glad I didn’t step on it. Hubby’s job is to move it! I did a bunch of small jobs and ironed for hours plus washed a load of laundry. It feels so good to get overdue jobs behind us. This beautiful butterfly caught my eye during lunch. There was a Monarch fluttering by as well but it disappeared. I like the change in color between the sunny and shady photos. Hot roast beef sandwiches, rice and green beans for dinner; quick and easy. Thanks for visiting. I read Putin is trying another crooked scheme to obtain more of Ukraine’s land. Stay safe. “Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life. And everyone deserves a little sunshine.” — Jeffrey Glassberg
