(Mount Rainier - so missing the snow of glaciers - it is staggering how little snow still clings.  


(extras - the focus of day - to leave 3#'s of Tom ashes which simply freaks me out every time i work with them but i suppose it is important - i made a cairn with ashes beneath, and set him with a direct close up view --had worked my way up a long winding steep trail - right where the trail to Camp Muir takes off for the trek to the top - which i did 40 years ago - 


however, we were turned back at well named Disappointment Cleaver - as a major snow storm was mounting loads of snow and gale winds fast at about 5 AM - i guess i will not make it to the top at this point - though I am steady with the constant climbing, the down though - ugh - 


so anyway, i have a couple more assignments with Tom remains ---)
