Border Tails

The Mussel Inn

I took the train to Edinburgh, for the first time since lockdown and met Dad and his pal, John, for a drink in the Standing Order in George Street. Then we wandered down to Rose Street for a lovely meal at the Mussel Inn.

My breathing wasn’t as it usually is, so I did a lateral flow test when I got up and another one just before I got on the train. Bothe negative, so after a quick chat with dad, it was decided that we would go ahead with our plans as I had no raised temperature and was feeling okay.

I liked the quote on the wall facing our table, so that it my blip for today.
