Rescued....!!

We are continuing our clean-up today and I rescued these few roses....!!
We shopped for curtains and lampshade for the room hubby has painted ...!
We also bought some brushed cotton duvet & sheets seeing as we’ve got to do everything possible to stay warm this Winter without the heat on so much.....our energy costs are soaring here in Ireland.....and even though we’ve done a really good ‘deal’ with out provider ...it’s still going to prove very costly these next number of months....!!
So a major ‘re-think’ about the usage of everything we now take for granted....and we are still of a generation that didn’t ‘grow up’ with all these ‘mod-cons’...so we should be able to pull back a bit and save...!! We’ll see how all that goes..!!

I’m still not great but thank you for all the good wishes .....it’s so supportive especially from people who suffer likewise...
Today I just tried to ignore it and kept busy doing ‘things’...but I need to see my ENT specialist asap....it’s been awhile..

My 2 ingredients from the other nights Blip just made a simple Caramel Icecream..it is seriously good....but to be approached with Caution as it really is rich...!!
I normally make Vanilla with the cream and a tin of Condensed Milk and Vanilla extract....but the ‘mistake’ buy worked very well....and the next one I’ll experiment with will have the Irish Liqueur Coole Swan In it....!!
