Botanizing

We had a delightful day among the wildflowers in the Stirling Ranges of Western Australia. We’ve been here many times, but can’t recall a more impressive display of flowers than we saw today. In the main, Rana is photographing Banksia blechnifolia, a ground-hugging species. Which is shown close-up in the first extra. In the second extra is Red Leschenaultia, which caused us to go ‘oohhh’ and ‘aahhh’ for some time. We saw many orchids, including a tiny Zebra Orchid, shown in the last extra.
